Here is our latest update on our SAY NO campaign, asking food producers to refuse to comply with the Government’s constant demands for information and action in support of policies that are counterproductive and unworkable.
This morning, Groundswell NZ supporters drove tractors over the Auckland Harbour Bridge to highlight the Government’s unworkable policies and our SAY NO actions to push back.
This was clearly too good for the media to pass up and made the first story on 1 News at Midday.
When else have the issues facing farmers made the top of the news, except for our other tractor protests?
We’re calling on all food producers to SAY NO:
- SAY NO to Government surveys of your private land.
- SAY NO to central government-controlled farm plans.
- SAY NO to calculating your emissions number.
- SAY NO to applying for Winter Grazing consents.
See our website for details on all our SAY NO actions.
These SAY NO actions are a short-term necessity until the Government puts in place workable regulations that achieve environmental outcomes, respect people, their private property rights, and their privacy.
We’re taking action to force the media to cover the Government’s assault on food producers and, with your support, we can continue to build up the public pressure to stop unworkable regulations.
